This could be 'Blackwater Park 2', it has a similar structure but original melodies, from the heaviest darkest ones to the most beautiful ones, and its very, very, very close to Blackwater Park quality, and it has some stuff better like the production and a higher presence on keyboards, organs, etc. Some bands have that 'perfect unique album' and I love to see that Opeth have more than one, and probably more than two. Here you can see what is probably the best combination of brutality with beauty, with a just perfect production, you can't just ask for more, like in Blackwater Park, here there is something for everyone. And I love to see some influences from past albums like the repetitive psychodelic outro from Harlequin Forest, clarely inspired by Deliverance, and I love that. Like 80% of Opeth's work, this was hard to listen in the beginning since this is one of my first Death Metal bands, but once I/you get into it, this is just an incredibly musical experience and I would love to see more people having the emfort to get into this kind of music, as I said, here is something for everyone.
